Dreaming Your Miraculous Dreams

19/01/2024

In the journey of life, our dreams are like beacons guiding us towards our true purpose. Recently, I had the privilege of listening to the captivating speaker Lisa Nichols, who shared profound insights on the art of dreaming your miraculous dream. In a world where setbacks and challenges are inevitable, Nichols' wisdom, drawn from the stories of iconic figures like Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, and Nelson Mandela, serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of perseverance, self-belief, and courage to dream against all odds.

One of the inspirations I got from her talk, is the Importance of having your dream: She highlights, that it is important to have your dreams because if you don't you will live on someone else's.  This resonates deeply with me and how I serve my coaching programs. I believe we are feeling stuck, unhappy, or unfulfilled in life because we have abandoned ourselves and have taken responsibility for everything and everyone else. We are living on their dreams not our own. Working with clients, I help them let go of the need to overdo and overgive to their kids, and other important family members and instead start living their dreams and pursuing their passions. Our dreams are a reflection of our authentic selves, guiding us toward a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.

Here is a client case study who worked with and said Yes to living her dreams:  Align with your highest truth and purpose program.

Lessons from Historical Figures: Lisa beautifully illustrates the power of perseverance through the stories of Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, and Nelson Mandela. Each faced seemingly insurmountable challenges, yet their unwavering commitment to their dreams became a source of inspiration.

  • Martin Luther King Jr. worked tirelessly, knowing he might not witness the realization of his dream in his lifetime. He risked his life for a dream he might not even see.
  • Mother Teresa selflessly served without seeking recognition, embodying the essence of dedication.
  • Nelson Mandela, while imprisoned for 28 years, wrote the book "A Long Walk to Freedom" with unwavering belief even before his physical freedom.
  • Role models who can serve as beacons during our challenging times. These thought leaders become sources of motivation, reminding us that if they can overcome drastic challenges, so can we. In times of setbacks, these role models become pillars of strength and encouragement. Who is going to be your role, your inspiration in challenging times?

Permission to Fail: One of the key takeaways is the importance of giving ourselves permission to fail. Trusting our ability to get back up after a fall is crucial. Lisa encourages us to hold the belief, that even in moments of failure, we possess the resilience to rise again. Trust in your ability to get back up!

Clarity Through Movement:  Using the analogy of a car at a robot, Lisa emphasizes the importance of continuous movement. Whether we're driving slowly or making bold strides, movement brings momentum. By choosing to move forward, even at the risk of making mistakes, clarity unfolds. The act of moving creates a path that eventually leads to the manifestation of our dreams. it is only with Action we gain Clarity!

Focus on Your "Ta Done" List: Instead of dwelling on what we haven't achieved, focus on our "Ta Done" list—acknowledging and celebrating our accomplishments. This shift in mindset empowers us to appreciate our journey, building confidence for the road ahead.

Lisa Nichols as a Role Model: Lisa's journey serves as a beacon of hope. From being a struggling single mother to running a multimillion-dollar business, she exemplifies the transformative power of choices. Her grandmother's words, "It's your birthright to be happy," became the catalyst for Lisa's dreams. Despite challenges and setbacks, she stands boldly on stage, speaking her truth with vulnerability, and inspiring others to do the same. Shine your light against all odds!

Conclusion: Dreaming your miraculous dream is not just a whimsical idea but a profound reality waiting to unfold. Lisa Nichols' insights serve as a guiding light, urging us to embrace our dreams, learn from setbacks, and persevere against all odds. As we navigate the challenges of life, let us remember that setbacks are not roadblocks but stepping stones toward the realization of our extraordinary dreams. Trust the process, embrace the journey, and one day, you'll look back, connecting the dots that led you to the fulfillment of your miraculous dream.

Dream your Miraculous Dream and Stay True to it no matter what!!!
